Review Site takes part in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and the Amazon India affiliate programme. These are affiliate advertising programmes that let sites earn a commission by linking to Amazon.
What that means in plain terms
Some links on this site go to Amazon and carry our affiliate tag. If you click one of those links and buy something, Amazon pays us a small percentage of the sale.
- It costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the same whether you reach Amazon through our link or type the address yourself.
- We do not see your order. Amazon tells us that a sale happened and what commission it earned. It does not tell us who you are, what your address is, or how you paid.
- Commission does not depend on which product you buy. We earn on whatever you end up purchasing in that session, so we have no reason to push one model over another.
Where the links appear
Any link that earns us a commission is an Amazon link, and it is marked with
rel="nofollow sponsored" in the page's HTML. Every page that
contains one shows a notice at the top before you read the article. We do not
use affiliate links that are disguised as ordinary text links, and we do not
place them inside the body of a sentence where you cannot tell what you are
clicking.
How we choose what to write about
Our guides are research-based. We read manufacturer specifications, published standards, and buyer feedback, and we explain what the numbers actually mean for someone shopping. We want to be straightforward about the limits of that:
- We do not physically test every product mentioned, and we never claim to have done so.
- We do not accept payment from manufacturers or brands to feature a product, write a favourable guide, or place a product higher in a list.
- No brand reviews our articles before they are published.
- Where we link, we usually link to Amazon's live search results for the kind of product being discussed rather than to one specific listing, so that you see current stock and current prices rather than a listing that has gone stale.
Prices and availability
Prices and availability on Amazon change constantly. Anything we mention about price is a general observation about a category, not a quoted figure. The price shown on Amazon at the time of purchase is the one that applies.
