About Us
Review Site publishes buying guides for consumer electronics sold in India — earbuds, headphones, smartwatches, power banks, chargers, keyboards, monitors and the everyday gadgets around them.
Why the site exists
Shopping for electronics online has a specific problem: the listing tells you everything except what matters. A pair of earbuds advertises "40 hours battery" without saying that the figure includes the case, and quotes a driver size as if a bigger number were automatically better. A power bank prints 20,000mAh on the front and delivers noticeably less, for reasons that are perfectly ordinary physics and are never explained on the page.
Our guides try to fill that gap. Each one takes a category, explains the few numbers that actually change how the product behaves, points out the claims that sound meaningful but are not, and describes which kind of buyer each option suits. The aim is that you can walk into any listing afterwards and read it properly — including listings we never mentioned.
How we work
We are a small independent publisher. We think you should know exactly what that does and does not mean:
- Our guides are research-based, not lab-tested. We read manufacturer specifications, published standards such as the IP ingress ratings and USB Power Delivery profiles, and a wide range of buyer feedback. We do not run a test lab, and we never write as though we have personally used a product when we have not.
- No brand pays us to be included. We accept no payment, no free samples in exchange for coverage, and no sponsored placements. No manufacturer sees an article before it is published.
- We explain categories rather than crown winners. A "best product" list goes out of date the week it is published. We would rather teach you to read a spec sheet, which does not.
- We say when we are not sure. Where evidence is thin or contested, the guide says so instead of inventing confidence.
How we make money
Through the Amazon Associates programme. When a link on this site sends you to Amazon and you buy something, Amazon pays us a small commission at no extra cost to you. That is the site's only source of revenue — there is no display advertising, no paid content and no data being sold.
The full details, including what Amazon does and does not tell us about you, are on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we want to know and we will fix it. Point us at the article and tell us what is incorrect, and we will correct the page and update its "last updated" date. Corrections are made openly, not quietly.
